End of Year Resolutions

What goals did you set that were not met? It is not too late to see them through ! Start planning for 2016, but get started now.

Make a list of all the things you want to accomplish, there are no limits, just write as many down as you can in 5 minutes. Go back at the end of 5 minutes and put the goals in order of importance, the ones that you have to make happen, no matter what, at the top of the list and then to the least important, the one that would be nice but not necessary. Behind the top goal, your "A" goal, brainstorm all the things it will take to make that goal happen, again, the sky is the limit, so be creative and precise while doing this, again allowing yourself 5-10 minutes. Then organize and pick the top 3 things that will move you closest to that goal. Continue to do this through your goals "B", "C", "D" etc... Having these goals and clear plan or ideas on how to reach them helps me to feel organized and ready to go. I can also see where I can get started now and set the plan into motion, I don't have to wait for January 1st to begin!

Now that you are set and ready to go with goals and how to work towards them, it would also be a great idea to put together your daily "to - do list". The items you do always should go on your daily list like laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, etc... then incorporate the items that you have to get done projects, appointments, etc.. and finally at the end of the daily list the items that you want to do but are not going to upset the apple cart if they don't get done. By adding this simple technique to your daily life, you will feel less stressed because you no longer have to try and remember everything you need to get done, they are written down. Once they are completed, check them off the list and move onto the next one. Thereby freeing up your cluttered mind and nerves by worrying about what all you need to do and thinking you may forget all the stuff that needs done.
